On Sunday, May 13, Assumption College awarded 617 degrees during its 101st Commencement exercises held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address.

Students whose semester averages were 3.6 or above were recently placed on the Dean's Honor List. The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Fall 2017 semester.

Spring internships are field experiences designed to provide a student learning opportunity under collaborative supervision between Colby-Sawyer faculty, staff, and work site professionals. Internships offer opportunities for students to enhance their academic programs with work experience related to career interests in all industry areas in national and international settings.
Students will travel to such places as Italy, Germany and England this term.
In addition to those students studying at Assumption's Campus in Rome, Italy, during the fall semester, 15 Assumption students are studying at partner colleges and universities in Australia, Ireland, Florida, France, Scotland, Spain, Washington, D.C., as well as participating in the Semester at Sea program.
308 first-year students have been awarded an Enrichment Scholarship this year.
